The garlic powder packaging machine that suits a project is decided by the bag format the market buys, not by a machine label. Garlic powder is packed as a finished food ingredient, and the pack it goes into decides how the product is fed and filled, how the pack is closed, and how the finished pack is handled afterwards. This page sets out the two packaging routes SUK works with, what each route suits, and the questions that still have to be settled in a project review.

Garlic Powder Packaging Scope

The scope here is deliberately narrow. This page covers two packaging routes for garlic powder: a configuration that forms the pack from a roll of film on the machine, and a configuration that fills a pouch which arrives ready-made. Anything beyond those two routes, including how many packs a line should deliver in an hour, is a project question rather than a page claim.

Nothing on this page is a quotation, a performance figure or a statement about a specific customer project. The purpose is to help you place your own pack on the right route, and then ask the questions that actually move a project forward.

Two Packaging Routes for Different Bag Formats

The first route forms the pack on the machine from a roll of film. It suits a factory that wants the pack made on site, from a film structure chosen for the project, with one consistent pack shape running down the line. Feeding, forming and closure all sit in one continuous sequence on the same machine.

The second route takes a pouch that has already been made and runs it through opening, filling and sealing stations. Because the pouch is finished before it reaches the machine, the pack appearance, the print and the closure are fixed before the line ever sees it. The rest of this page takes the two routes in turn.

Bag-Format Illustration

The illustration below is a drawing rather than a photograph, and it is included so that the format vocabulary used on the rest of this page has a visual reference point. It shows how pack formats differ in shape and proportion; it is not a picture of equipment and it is not a picture of a customer project.

Vertical Roll-Film Configuration

In the vertical roll-film configuration the pack is formed, filled and sealed on the machine from a roll of film in one continuous cycle. It is the route to compare against when the pack is made on site and the film structure is part of the project rather than something bought in finished. The vertical packaging machine platform is the family to look at first.

What a review has to settle is how the powder reaches the forming and filling side, how the pack closure is made, and how the finished pack leaves the machine for the next step in the line. None of those answers come from the route itself; they come from your pack and your line.

Premade Pouch Configuration

In the premade pouch configuration the pouch arrives ready-made and is opened, filled and sealed on the machine. It is the route for a factory that buys finished pouches, printed and laminated, and wants the pack to look the same on every run. A stand-up format belongs on this route and not on the film route. The premade bag packing machine range covers this route.

To take either route further, send the pack you actually sell, the film or pouch structure you plan to use, and a drawing of where the machine will stand, through the contact page. That is enough for us to come back on the garlic powder packaging machine configuration that fits your project, and to list the points that still need confirmation.
