Beef Tray Cling Film Packaging Machine

Description

For beef processors packing cuts in trays, SUK offers the SK-BF tray cling film overwrapping machine. The selection starts with the loaded tray, not only the weight of the beef: tray rigidity, the height of each cut and the condition of the tray rim all need review.

Features and Configuration Review

Send photos of the loaded tray, including any uneven or protruding cuts, and the smallest and largest tray dimensions. Describe the temperature and moisture condition at the wrapping station, any absorbent pad, and how trays arrive from portioning. Specify your target wrapped trays per minute and how product changeovers, cleaning access and downstream labelling should be handled.

Applications

Beef portioning and tray-packing projects should be assessed with actual trays, film and product samples. If the package needs a gas barrier, vacuum or modified atmosphere, identify that requirement before selecting the packaging process; cling film overwrapping is not a substitute for those methods.

Prepare representative loaded beef trays for a wrapping review

Choose trays representing different handling challenges, not just the most attractive display pack. Include the smallest footprint, the greatest loaded height and a pack with an uneven cut profile. Identify the tray material, rim shape, pad arrangement and the film proposed for the project so observations can be tied to a repeatable pack specification.

  • Tray support: observe whether a loaded tray bends, shifts or changes orientation through the proposed infeed and wrapping path.
  • Cut profile: identify projections and high points in the load. Agree how to assess film contact, punctures, exposed edges and pack appearance with those actual samples.
  • Finished-pack handling: include the proposed discharge, label position and any weighing or inspection interface in the line review. Assign these functions in the quotation instead of assuming they are included.

Agree what counts as an accepted wrapped tray

Use a defined timed run to record accepted packs, visible wrapping defects, interruptions and operator actions for each representative tray. Document the tray, load and film used for every result. The SK-BF reference configuration gives a starting point, not a beef-specific output guarantee.

If the brief instead requires an evacuated or gas-flushed package, review that packaging process separately; a cling-film overwrap must not be presented as the same process. Send SUK your beef tray-packing brief with loaded-tray photos, length × width, loaded height, film, accepted packs/minute, changeovers and the upstream/downstream equipment to be connected.

SK-BF Catalog Reference Specifications

Model: SK-BF. Reference packing speed: 20–60 packs/minute. Actual output depends on the tray, product, film and configuration. The highest speed is not guaranteed for the largest pack.

See the SK-BF tray cling film overwrapping machine for the 2026 catalog reference dimensions and configuration table. Confirm the proposed configuration with SUK before ordering. These reference values are not a product-specific trial result.
