The SUK SK-BF is a tray cling film overwrapping option for vegetable packing projects. Unlike a roll-film bag machine, it wraps a loaded tray; vegetables therefore need to be presented in a tray arrangement suitable for the proposed film and machine configuration.
For leafy or irregular vegetables, show the maximum loaded height and any stems or leaves extending beyond the tray. For cut or washed vegetables, describe surface moisture, drainage and any pad used beneath the product. For heavier packs, provide tray material and rigidity, not just the nominal tray dimensions. Define how trays are loaded, their spacing on the infeed and where wrapped packs go next for labelling or inspection.
Vegetable processors should submit representative products and trays for review before a configuration is specified. Film choice, ventilation, product condition and the handling process remain part of the packaging assessment. Cling film wrapping is not vacuum or modified-atmosphere packaging.
